How it started

Jim and Yara had known each other for over twenty years before becoming collaborators. Yara reworks the intricate patterns found in Jim's art made from his linoleum and woodcuts, creating bold, colorful patterns for textiles. Mutually inspired by the balance of design found in nature, each fabric is a testament to the inspiration Jim has found in the aesthetics of antique utilitarian items such as Moroccan tiles or a Mediterranean rug.
